The team of the popular Bollywood film 'Ghadr: Ek Prem Katha' released two decades ago has released a motion poster of the sequel and confirmed that the new film will be released in the year 2022.

For the past few years, there have been reports that work is underway to make a sequel to the popular 2001 film Ghadr: A Love Story, and in July this year, director Anil Sharma confirmed that work on a new film is underway.

Now the film team and production house have released a motion poster of the film and confirmed that the film will be released next year.

Sharing the motion poster of the sequel of 'Ghadr', 'Zee Studio' tweeted that the wait of the fans is over, the new film will be released soon.

Actor Sunny Deol also released a motion poster of the film, which confirmed that the new film will include the cast of the old film.

The Motion Post reported that the new film will also feature Sunny Deol along with his wife Amisha Patel and his son Atkarsh Sharma.

The post also confirmed that the story of the new film will start from where the story of the first film ended.

In the story of the old film, Sunny Deol was shown taking his wife Amisha Patel and son from Pakistan to India.

The story of 'Ghadr: A Love Story' is set against the backdrop of Partition of India, in which Sunny Deol plays a Sikh man 'Tara' while Amisha Patel plays the role of a Muslim girl 'Sakina', who married in love before the Partition of India. However, the country is soon divided.

After the partition of India and Pakistan, Sakina comes to Pakistan and her Sikh husband comes to Lahore from India to pick her up and after much opposition from his wife's family, he finally takes her home.

Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel are likely to be seen in older roles in the new film, as actor Atkarsh Sharma, who played their child in the first film, is now young and is also in the new film. ۔

Although the film team has confirmed that the new film will be released in 2022, no final release date has been announced.

The story of the film is also written by the writer of the first film while the director will also give the instructions.
